Compliance Specialist – MOR Consultant Part-Time/Full Time (Work from Home)

Description


National Housing Compliance (NHC), headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is the Performance Based Contract Administrator (PBCA) for HUD in the state of Illinois.  We are currently seeking a full-time/part-time Compliance Specialist or MOR Consultant in the Southern Illinois or St Louis metro area to be responsible for conducting on-site Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs) for an assigned portfolio.  The Compliance Specialist/MOR Consultant will conduct on-site Management and Occupancy Reviews pursuant to HUD’s 9834 form and will do follow-up on REAC Inspection results. Work further requires data review, collection, and analysis and strong report writing. All work must be conducted in accordance with HUD program regulations and NHC standards of performance. Strong customer relations skills and experience working with property owners/agents is a must.

General Requirements

Expert knowledge of the HUD Section 8 Multi-family program regulations and property management experience, previous experience conducting MORs a plus; computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint on-line work environment; Certified Occupancy Specialist Certification (COS); BA/BS in Business or related field; must have valid driver's license, transportation, and auto liability coverage. Travel required 50%+ some overnight.

Receptionist / Office Coordinator (Full Time)

Description

National Housing Compliance (NHC), headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is the Performance Based Contract Administrator (PBCA) for HUD in the state of Georgia.  We are currently seeking a full-time Office Coordinator to manage the front desk and operator calls; ensure control of visitors per corporate policy; and represent the corporation professionally while promoting a customer centric culture. They will process mail and facsimiles daily.  Order office supplies and assist with office management ensuring office operations run smoothly and efficiently for staff.  Provide administrative and clerical support to the Administrative Support team.  To understand and comply with corporate Policies & Procedures as they apply to the front desk/reception/mail and office operations.  Will assist with preparation of meetings and special events as well as assist with special projects as assigned.

General Requirements 

Two-year degree from an accredited college and 2-4 years of administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years of experience in an administrative support position with receptionist experience and strong customer service skills/experience.  Experience and knowledge of mail handling and filing systems.  Proficiency with MS Office Suite to include experience with proofing and editing letters and forms and producing professional documents.  Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at once.  Able to pay close attention to details to ensure that work is handled properly.  Highly skilled in interacting with customers in a receptionist/operator capacity providing a very positive first impression of the corporation.
