Administrative Support Manager

National Housing Compliance (NHC) is a 501c (4) company currently seeking a full-time Administrative Support Manager to work in the corporate office located in Tucker, Georgia. This position will provide administrative and clerical assistance to the CEO, Human Resources Mgr. and New Business lines. Will be responsible for coordinating corporate marketing materials with outside vendors as well as proofing/editing of new business materials, including presentations. Will manage the front /office facilities operations including supervision of the Administrative Coordinator/Receptionist, ensuring all are well run to meet staff needs. Maintains official corporate files, works on corporate meetings and events, manages office budget, and serves as back-up to HR critical tasks. Manages Disaster Recovery (DR) Policy and Program for the office and staff (excluding IT) in addition to managing the annual staff/board/contractor Conflict of Interest Certifications. Must understand and ensure compliance with all Administrative and HR (from a back-up capacity) Policies and Procedures (P&P).


Must have 2 year degree from an accredited college in administration, business, office management or similar field or an equivalent combination of work experience.  Minimum 4 years’ experience in an administrative support capacity or similar work. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).  Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills.  Excellent proofing and editing skills. Must have some experience in support of Human Resources.  Strong people skills and customer relations skills.  Ability to produce work that is accurate, thorough, and neat. Must have proven track record showing ability to lead and supervise a team.

Compliance Specialist & Consultants

National Housing Compliance (NHC) is a 501c(4) company currently seeking a full-time Compliance Specialist in the Southern Illinois / St Louis area. Will be responsible for conducting the on-site Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs) for assigned portfolio and handling weekly Resident Concerns.  The Compliance Specialist will conduct on-site Management and Occupancy Reviews pursuant to HUD’s 9834 form and follow-up on REAC Inspection results. Work further requires data review, collection, and analysis and strong report writing. All work must be conducted in accordance with HUD program regulations and NHC standards of performance. Strong customer relations skills and experience working with property owners/agents is a must.

NHC is also seeking MOR Consultants to perform similar work on a part-time basis.

General Requirements

Expert knowledge of the HUD Section 8 Multi-family program regulations and property management experience, previous experience conducting MORs a plus; computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and use of HUD secure systems; Certified Occupancy Specialist Certification (COS); BA/BS in Business or related field; must have valid driver's license, transportation, and auto liability coverage; travel required 50%+ overnight.

Compliance Analyst – Asset Management

National Housing Compliance (NHC) is a 501c(4) company currently seeking a full-time Compliance Analyst in the Asset Management Department. Performs high-level, professional administrative work for the Asset Management Team, particularly in the areas of Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs), REAC – when applicable and Resident Concerns intake. Establishes good working relationships with owners/agents, residents, MOR consultants, HUD staff, and other interested parties. Assists the Chief Asset Management Officer (CAMO) and SCM/CMs in coordinating special events, such as Owner Meetings. 

Provides MOR documents to Compliance Managers (CMs) and ensures assigned tasks within the MOR workflow are completed timely. Enters data in HUD Secure System as needed for FHEO documents, MOR activity, Resident concerns and REAC; also enters data in NHC’s HDS system – primarily rent schedule data. Conducts ongoing tracking, data collection, and reporting of RHIIP Activities; coordinates with SCM, CMs and Voucher Department for close out. Serves as single point of contact for distribution and handling of any MOR, REAC, Resident Concerns paper documents that may be received via US Mail.  .

Position reports directly to the Senior Compliance Manager in Asset Management who reports to the Chief Asset Management Officer (CAMO)

General Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Knowledge of compliance monitoring, asset management, property management, and Section 8 program regulations. Ability to review and prepare technical reports. Ability to apply federal regulations, analyze and interpret data and prepare and maintain records.

Certification, training or specialized degree required.
