Senior Asset Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Asset Manager to join our Asset Management Team under the supervision of the Director of Asset Manager. This role is responsible for reviewing all rent adjustments for accuracy, supervising Asset Analyst staff, and acting as a liaison with the IT department to improve system processes. The Senior Asset Manager processes HAP contract renewals, contract termination requests, and rent adjustments (OCAF, Budget-Based, RCS) while ensuring compliance with both program and corporate requirements. This position holds accountability for meeting all performance benchmarks, securing 100% of administrative fees, and maintaining strong relationships with owners/agents, HUD staff, and other stakeholders. Additionally, the Senior Asset Manager manages an assigned portfolio of properties, ensures accurate data entry, monitors workflow to meet deadlines, and prepares monthly invoice documentation. Responsibilities also include maintaining compliance with Section 8 program guidelines, conducting quality control audits for rent adjustments, executing rent schedules, and ensuring timely processing of contract renewals, terminations, and rent adjustments.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of HUD Section 8 Renewal Policy Guidebook requirements and 4-6 years of relevant experience in Section 8 Renewal Policy Guidebook regulations. Professional industry designations, and a bachelor’s degree are preferred but not required. This role requires excellent analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment, all while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in every aspect of program administration.

MOR Contractors

We are currently seeking Contractors in Georgia to be responsible for conducting the on-site Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs) for an assigned portfolio. The Contractor will conduct on-site MORs pursuant to HUD’s 9834 form and will do follow-up on NSPIRE Inspection results. Work further requires data review, collection, and analysis and strong report writing. All work must be conducted in accordance with HUD program regulations and NHC standards of performance.

Requirements:

Strong customer relations skills and experience working with property owners/agents is a must. Expert knowledge of the HUD Section 8 Multi-family program regulations and property management experience, previous experience conducting MORs a plus; computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and use of HUD secure systems; Certified Occupancy Specialist Certification (COS); BA/BS in Business or related field; must have valid driver’s license, transportation, and auto liability coverage. Travel required 50%+ some overnight.
