Compliance Specialist/Asset Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to support our Asset Management Team. This role involves conducting Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs) and managing various Asset Management activities, such as rent adjustments and utility allowances. Under the supervision of the Senior Compliance Manager, the Compliance Specialist oversees an assigned portfolio, ensuring properties comply with HAP contracts and HUD program regulations. Responsibilities include conducting on-site MORs, Fair Housing (FHEO) compliance reviews, limited follow-up on NSPIRE inspections, and addressing resident concerns. The role involves data review, collection, analysis, data entry, project monitoring, report preparation, and maintaining HUD/NHC deadlines. The Compliance Specialist provides technical support to property managers, advocates for residents, and maintains strong customer relations with various stakeholders. They must attend and pass Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) Training, process rent adjustments and utility allowances, ensure accurate data entry, request funding for rent adjustments, and prepare and execute HUD forms. Additionally, they review and approve OCAF Worksheets, Utility Allowance submissions, and rent adjustment forms for accuracy and compliance within required timeframes. The Compliance Specialist also provides information to other teams related to rent adjustments and contract renewals.

Admin Analyst

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin Analyst to join our office in Tucker, Georgia. This role involves managing the front desk, providing phone and front door coverage, and professionally representing the corporation while promoting a customer-centric culture. Key responsibilities include handling Owner/Agent changes, resolving resident concerns within AQL and ISO9001 standards, and maintaining positive relations with all stakeholders. The Admin Analyst ensures phones are answered courteously, provides excellent customer service, manages deliveries and daily mail, and maintains a clean and organized office environment to support corporate operations.

MOR Contractors

We are currently seeking Contractors in Illinois and Georgia to be responsible for conducting the on-site Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs) for an assigned portfolio.  The Contractor will conduct on-site Management and Occupancy Reviews pursuant to HUD’s 9834 form and will do follow-up on NSPIRE Inspection results. Work further requires data review, collection, and analysis and strong report writing. All work must be conducted in accordance with HUD program regulations and NHC standards of performance. Strong customer relations skills and experience working with property owners/agents is a must. Expert knowledge of the HUD Section 8 Multi-family program regulations and property management experience, previous experience conducting MORs a plus; computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and use of HUD secure systems; Certified Occupancy Specialist Certification (COS); BA/BS in Business or related field; must have valid driver’s license, transportation, and auto liability coverage. Travel required 50%+ some overnight.
